NeoFinder 7.5.2 released

trim jpg

NeoFinder 7.5.2 is available now

We are happy to present you the new NeoFinder 7.5.2 today!

This version offers a powerful feature that can help you reclaim a lot of space in your photo library.

macOS contains a
long standing bug we have recently uncovered. This will cause JPG files transferred over from iOS and converted from HEIC to JPG by macOS to contain a lot of empty, unneeded data appended at the end of each file.

In my own photo library, I found 12000 JPG files with a total of almost 20 GB of wasted space.

This new NeoFinder contains the
Truncate JPG feature that will allow you to reclaim the unneeded and wasted space!

New features and enhancements:

  • New Feature: Truncate JPG files to reclaim unneeded space wasted by incorrect macOS JPG conversion
  • Better cataloging of PhaseOne IIQ RAW files
  • Improved handling of newer Sigma X3F RAW files
  • Requires Mac OS X 10.8 or newer
